MR. AND MRS. WILKES

Mr. and Mrs. Rex Wilkes of Brownfield celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Friday with a family trip to Belize. They are the parents of Mont and Emrie Wilkes of Argyle and Mark and Stacey Wilkes, Tony and Rexann Turrentine and Brentt Wilkes, all of Brownfield. Wilkes and Charlotte Hurd were married March 18, 1961, at her parents’ home in Brownfield. They have 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
