Traffic, low unemployment put Lubbock in mix with Buffalo, Omaha
What do Lubbockites have in common with folks in Buffalo, New York, and Fremont, California?
Living the good life, apparently.
Despite the dust, flatness and constant complaints from some that there’s “nothing to do,” the quality of life in the Hub City is among the top in the county, according to a recently released study from Nerd Wallet, national data analysts known for creating such lists.
Lubbock was eighth of 20 cities ranked based on such factors as work commute time, health insurance coverage and unemployment rate.
