City seeks summer workers for camp counselors, lifeguards, cashiers, concession attendants and pool laborers
The Lubbock Parks and Recreation Department will hold a summer job fair for hiring seasonal summer staff for about 55 part- and full-time positions.
The event is set for 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at the parks and recreation office at 1611 10th St., according to a statement from city spokesman Jeff McKito.
Part-time positions available include summer camp counselors, lifeguards, cashiers, concession attendants and pool laborers at Lubbock community center and the city’s four municipal pools. All positions require a criminal background check and drug screening.
