For the second time in seven months, Bobbie Lewis will have to search for another place to live. Tuesday’s fire at Briercroft Manor left her with the clothes on her back and her purse. Seven months ago, Campbell Properties relocated her to Briercroft, a sister property, after a fire at Somerset Apartments, another venture owned by Chester Campbell. Campbell walked away when asked questions about his properties. Public records show he is the owner or co-owner of about 70 properties in Lubbock, including the apartments.
