Each of them weighs around 8,500 pounds, all are in their 40s and they perform one of the main acts of the show Sussie, Minnie and Bunnie are three Asian elephants that are "part of our family," said Jason Gibson, production manager of the circus. "The elephants have been with us for the past three years," Gibson said, "and they have learned to perform tricks at our shows." Ramon Esqueda, the elephants' trainer, has developed a bond with the animals.
