K9 partner helped bring down suspect on July 4
In January, 2-year-old Harley made Lubbock Police Department history as the first female to serve in her unit after leaving her home in Holland.
Since then, Lubbock Police Sgt. Michael Jordan said she has been a great partner as she serves many roles as the new bomb-sniffing K9 for the department.
“She’s done an exceptional job since we’ve had her,” Jordan said as Harley, a Dutch Shepard, sat by his side.
