TEXAS
TECH BASEBALL:
A
Tribute To Dan Law
Everyone
associated with Lubbock baseball is familiar with
Dan Law. Texas Tech's baseball stadium was named
Dan Law Field in 1988. But Law's involvement in
the development in Lubbock baseball runs much
deeper than just a name.
Through
the years, Law has been active in various Lubbock
civic projects. He has been involved in city youth
baseball and basketball programs as a coach and
a sponsor for many years. He helped make possible
the building of the Lubbock Christian College
baseball field and Dan Law Field at Texas Tech.
He has served as President of the Texas Tech Letterman's
Lounge. He is also an active member in the Texas
Tech Ex-Students Association, the Century Club,
the Old Red Club, and has been a director of both
the Red Raider Club and Texas Tech Specialties,
Inc.
