President Obama told Congress to "get to work" on his priorities to address unemployment. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, said most of Congress is working but the Democratic leadership is too busy playing politics. With the GOP in charge of the House, Obama and the Senate must either find common ground with them or accept they're the party of No.

The House Republicans proposed several budgets to the Senate Dems and the President. Senate Dems lead by Harry Reid say NO to all the budget proposals. Political pressure in how the issues are played out in the national media and the Republican desire to keep things going forces the House to go with Continuing Resolutions (CR) that perpetuate the over $3 trillion budget last passed some 1,000 days ago by the Democrats. 40% of each current budget that is over $3 Trillion is borrowed money.
The Democrats have a lawful duty to pass a budget EVERY year. They are not supposed to wait 1,000 days in between budgets. But they say NO to any new budget that might save America and get our debt under control.
Double-speak: Everytime we hear that the Repubs want to cut the budget, the Democrats mean that Republicans want to cut back the proposed increases in budgets that will reach over $5 Trillion per year by 2015? or was it later? http://crfb.org/stabilizethedebt/
