Roosevelt High School tips hat to 71 graduates for class of 2010

Diplomas were given to the 71 graduating seniors from the 2010 class of Roosevelt High School on Thursday night in the Roosevelt gymnasium.

• Valedictorian: Gabriela Pedroza, daughter of Jose and Elvia Pedroza.

• Salutatorian: David Esquivel Jr,, son of David and Patty Esquivel.

• Scholarship money offered to the class: $188,650.

• What makes this class special: "It is my first class to graduate as Roosevelt superintendent." - Roosevelt ISD Superintendent Jimmy Parker

• Class president: Shelbie Golson, daughter of Deborah Golson.

• Student body president: Roosevelt High School does not have a student body president.

• Graduation speaker: Jimmy Ledbetter, Roosevelt High School science teacher and coach.
