Tubbs changing his tune

When Tubberville showed up he couldn't quit saying the word "championships". Now he seems to be hedging his bets on even having a winning season. Can we please get his time at Tech overwith so we can move forward...

Same old people posting

Easy to post negative stuff isn't it RedFader87?

At least wait until there is proof after the season. Not a great way to start....unless you are one of the paid for Tech bashers on this site.

Of course

We need to give this guy one more chance. GTX provide proof there are paid Tech bashers, or pull your skirt over your head and run away like all Hancers do when asked to provide proof to support their idiotic sheeple following of corruption. Wreck Em.

negative statements by Tubbs

Tubs statement( "Well I don't know if we are going to win any more games this year than last year") is very negative and shows he has very little confidence in his team' abilities or his coaching abilities. I will tell you one thing, if he goes 5-7 this season, it will be has last at Tech!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He must know he is on the hot seat! I am very pleased with the players optimism though! Bottom line is that getting better means winning more games! Period! Tubbs can say he is pleased with things, but is he really? I wonder. He is already making excuses before the season starts!!!!!!!! "Well we will be in more games, it depends on how good the other teams are. I guess he is saying that if the other teams are good we won't win because we really aren't that good.We need a coach who believes his team can win each game!! Why play the games, if you don't think you can win them? Are we playing games to be "in" them? According to Tubbs we are and he is the problem! I am hoping the players will win despite him!

Unfortunately, they do it for free.

Spike...

Dont confuse bashing admins with bashing kids. And youre right, they do it for free. The comments are usually (not always) based on actual occurances. Nothing wrong with bashing the school leadership. I draw the line at bashing the kids. Dont give a freeze dried crap about the admins.

Coyote....

I once threw a water balloon at someone I didn't like, it ended up getting EVERYONE wet.

Certainly

You threw that water balloon at someone who threw at you or someone you admired. And certainly, you were just a young lad when you threw the balloon. And certainly, those unintended victims were too young to understand the difference between themselves and your intended target.

Tuberville is already making excuses.

Tommy T. is already making excuses for a bad season he expects to happen. When he was hired he said Tech was near championship caliber. Then when he found out coaching in the Big12 was no easy chore, he blamed a lack of talent. Then when he had the worst season in 2 decades and the worst loss in school history he blamed fans, wind, injuries, chemistry and anything else except his bad coaches and bad coaching decisions. Now he says Tech is "closer" to where he wants his team than 3 years ago, yet in the next breath he says his team may not win more than last year. He is at best a bad motivator, and at worst a bad coach. And by the way, where do I apply for a paycheck for bashing Tubbs, Brown, all the many D-cordinators, Hance, and the administration? Hell, I've been doing it for free, I might as well get paid for it!
