Texas Tech nickel back Tre Porter and cornerback Cornelius Douglas both are "available" for Saturday's game at No. 4 Kansas State, a Tech spokesman said Thursday.  He said tight end Jace Amaro remains questionable.

Douglas and Porter both have had knee injuries.  Douglas missed last week's game at TCU, and Porter got hurt during that game.

Amaro took a hard shot to the midsection two weeks ago from a West Virginia linebacker.  Tech coach Tommy Tuberville has been vague when discussing Amaro's injury and when he might return.

I Like This Better.....

Let your opponent prepare for Amaro--that will take some time.

DB's must be OK, because you've got to be 99% healthy to play the position.

Sure would like to get a good start again KS, although this veteran group can play from ahead or play from behind. Maybe playing through the disaster of last year gives these guys an edge when the going gets tough. They act like it.

Starting to plan my game time dining and beverage menu.
