With two road games remaining, the Cowboys have their earliest senior day since 2007. … Tech TE Jace Amaro and DT Leon Mackey are not on the dress roster for today’s game. Amaro would miss his fifth game in a row since suffering an internal injury against West Virginia. CB Cornelius Douglas, nickel back Jarvis Phillips and DT Dennell Wesley are back on the dress roster, Douglas after missing the last four games and Phillips the last two. Wesley missed last week’s game for a death in the family. … Texas Tech graduate assistant Kevin Oliver will be on the opposite sideline from his brother, Oklahoma State graduate assistant Bryson Oliver. Kevin Oliver became the subject of widespread attention last week when Tech coach Tommy Tuberville yanked off Oliver’s headset and cap in a sideline blowup. Bryson Oliver was on the Tech staff from 2007 to 2010 as a student assistant and manager. The brothers are from Sweetwater. …Oklahoma State graduate assistant Ty Linder is a former Tech linebacker who was on the Tech coaching staff from 2007 to 2011. … Oklahoma State RB Joseph Randle last week became the sixth Cowboy to produce more than one 1,000-yard rushing season. Randle joined Terry Miller, who did it three times, and Thurman Thomas, David Thompson, Tatum Bell and Kendall Hunter, who did it twice apiece. … Texas Tech is 0-4 in Stillwater since winning 49-30 in 2001. … Tech QB Seth Doege has 7,776 career passing yards, putting him right behind Taylor Potts (7,835 from 2007-10) and Robert Hall (7,908 from 1990-93). Only two Tech QBs topped 8,000 yards in career passing: Graham Harrell (15,793 from 2005-08) and Kliff Kingsbury (12,429 from 1999-02).
