Conner Dyer’s grand tour this summer led him to Texas Tech.
The four-star offensive lineman committed Tuesday afternoon to the Red Raiders. His decision came after traveling the country this summer, visiting Ohio State, Ole Miss and Tennessee, three of the 24 schools that offered him a scholarship.
“It wasn’t easy,” said Dyer, a 6-foot-4, 276-pounder from Mesquite Horn. “I’ve been around the country looking at schools just to make sure. And I’m glad I was able to do that so I can say for sure that this is the best decision.”
One that gives the Red Raiders an enormous boost.
