Proceeds will benefit charities
This year’s pancake festival is meant to be bigger and better than previous years’.
The Lions Club hopes to net $100,000 from its pancake fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 22, according to co-chair Mike Massengale. In years past, he said, the group has netted anywhere from $90,000 to $96,000.
“We’ve had really, really strong sales,” he said of this year’s ticket sales.
Tickets are available for purchase through Lions Club members. This week after 5 p.m. daily, members will be in front of local United Supermarkets selling advance tickets for $5.
