Silver Anniversary: 25 Years And Kicking Hard   Progress came more swiftly than it ever had before for Texas Technological College in the 1950s as the burgeoning school celebrated its silver anniversary and continued to look to the future while remembering its past.

War Years: Stability Despite Crisis, Changes   While World War II raged, Texas Technological College worked its way through a decade of change and transition in the 1940s. Before it was all said and done, three men would serve as president, and a roomy, new football stadium would be dedicated on campus.

New Doors: Med School Extends Tech Legacy   The 1970s represented a time of continued growth and prosperity for Texas Tech as well as another significant first in the university's history.

Home Of Champions: A New Millennium Calls   Dr. Robert W. Lawless' commitment to Texas Tech was clear from the start. He wanted to enhance the university's academic reputation nationally, bulk up Tech's paltry endowments and help the school reach new heights in the 1990s.
