Tech-Texas State football to be played on ESPN3 (David Just's blog)

Texas State announced Monday that the Texas Tech at Texas State football game will be aired on ESPN3 on Sept. 8.

Tech had threatened to cancel its game in San Marcos if the game was to be aired on ESPN's Longhorn Network.

The game was never officially slated to be shown on the Longhorn Network, and as of Friday an ESPN spokesman said the TV schedule had still not been determined.

Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. and will be the first game in Texas State's new Bobcat Stadium.

Glad the Raiders and Bobcats won't be playing on The Douchebag Network.
