Kickoff time set for Tech opener

The kickoff time for Texas Tech’s season opener has been set.

The Red Raiders will begin their game against Northwestern State at 6 p.m. on Sept. 1 inside Jones AT&T Stadium, Tech announced Monday.

No details about possible television coverage have been announced.

Tech’s games at Texas State (Sept. 8) and against New Mexico (Sept. 15) have also been slated for 6 p.m.

Season and individual game tickets are still available and can be ordered at TexasTech.com.

I think they would have started the kick off at 11:00 if Fox Southwest was going to pick it up.

PLAYING AT TEXAS STATE

How should I put this? Our game AT Texas State could be a loss.

But we're accustomed to catastrophes.
