Game times for Texas Tech’s first four football games of the 2014 season have been announced.
And one game in particular stands out. No, not the highly anticipated Arkansas game on Sept. 13. Although, that game will be picked up by ESPN or ABC and gets a nice time slot (2:30 p.m.)
No, it is the UTEP-Tech game in El Paso. The game was picked up by Fox Sports 1 and the kickoff is scheduled for 10 p.m. CST. And with the way that the Red Raiders throw around the football, the game might not end until 1:30 a.m.
It should be noted that kickoff times are dictated by network television and only the first four weeks have been announced. What that means is things change. Although, I expect these to be written in some pretty hard stone.
The remaining game times will follow Big 12 television protocol which means times generally will be announced two weeks prior to the game.
