The Red Raiders haven't been to the NCAA tournament since 2007, and their season this March will consist of a home finale against Missouri and one Big 12 tournament game March 7 in Kansas City, Mo., barring a huge upset. Tech faces visiting Texas on Saturday.

Former Georgetown resident Billy Gillispie has the track record to change the fortunes of the program. First, though, he is enduring one of the worst years in school history. The numbers are brutal:

Good article

Got to hand it to those folks in Austin, they can prepare a good article, and a shout out to the AJ for linking us to it. As long as our recruits don't wanna bail, they look promising for Billy Clyde (4-5 recruits go much further in BB than in college football). Men's basketball could very well be the sport that keeps us alive in the next few years, so adjust your excitement calendar from Fall to Winter.

No mention in the article of Augie Burrito getting fired and cheated out of his pay after so many winning seasons in the dugout. Guess they don't do that in Austin. But if they change their minds, they've got Dicky Grigg close at hand.
