Well, turns out the skeptics were right. Baylor basketball’s rise was not on the up-and-up. But it’s worse than feared. It wasn’t just Scott Drew’s men’s program that skirted NCAA rules, it was Kim Mulkey’s women’s program.

I would not be surprised if Scott Drew had a lot more violations come out over the next couple of years.

Hey People,
Come on....did you really think BU by the Brazos wasn't up to SOMETHING? Hubby and I predicted this and we were right on..... For a small private school in a conference as competitive as the Big 12 to achieve all of this in one year isn't feasible. If it smells rotten it usually is. In my opinion, their penalities weren't that severe......I would imagine the embarrassment is worse. Let the lesson be learned......if you want to run with the big dogs you'd better learn how to cover your tracks. Obviously the Red Raiders aren't equipped to run with any type of dog in any sport this year......if we're doing the same, (and I can't imagine we're not) we're doing a poor job of it.......if you're going to cheat then at least get some victories for your trouble. It's too bad that universities feel this type of pressure to win at all costs. For this we can thank all of us I guess, along with media hype and fat TV contracts. They say "money" is the root of all ......(fill in) along with his twin brother greed. There isn't an answer; but I do hope our Red Raiders in all sports turn things around next year and win a little....heck I'd settle for being competitive!
Griner chickens out on Olympic Committee physical

Baylor self-imposed. The writer is the #1 Sooner shill in the world. But at least he occcasionally enters a story--unlike our slumbering Don Williams.
