My SA.com: TCU official says Big 12 expansion remains possibility

Expansion of the Big 12 Conference beyond the existing 10 teams remains a possibility, TCU athletic director Chris Del Conte said in San Antonio on Thursday.

“My sense of the group right now is that we’re solidifying our television contract and working through our conference membership,” Del Conte said. “(That) is where we’re focusing our attention right now. ”

Del Conte made his remarks at a TCU booster function at the Polo Field Golf Center.

Don't call the sports desk at the AJ. You might wake somebody up. Never coverage about anything, ever. If they get more than $7.75 an hour they're overpaid.
