Texas Tech has always had the coolest horse and rider tradition in the conference, arguably in the nation. There was always one school with something just a little more cool.
The addition of Florida State to the conference would, I must admit, trumps us. You just cannot beat their Seminole chief riding to the 50 yard line and throwing the war spear down before the game.
Please bring back tortilla throwing should Florida State join the conference. Besides the cellar, we need something to distinguish Tech from the rest of the Big 12 under Hance and Tuberville. Otherwise, we are just another public university being run as if it were a growing Walmart chain, maximizing customers (once known as students) and improving donor return to further the skyboxification of our society. Well, I guess setting up a cozy spot atop the Jones for a ponzie scheme meeting is distinguishable.
