Kingsbury

Tech can go after any one they want to. Question is, who wants to give up their current situation or lifestyle to come to Lubbock? Other than he graduated from Tech, why would Kingsbury come to Tech when he can ride the shoulders of Johnny Heisman for at least two more years and use that expeirence to find a better gig than Tech with it's fickled and frustrated fanbase? If the fans and the administration want a loyal coach that loves Lubbock and Tech, they need to go after Butch Henderson at Wayland. He could build up the program and I'm sure he would hang around for a long time. Good luck to Tech in it's search for a coach who will please their fans, that will run the type of offense they want to see, that will win that elusive Big XII title, and that will fit in with the "good 'ole boy" image. I know it's hard to believe, but there is more to life in West Texas than Tech athletics.

scary

I bet being micro-managed by Kent Hance & the Board of Directors scares off most of the candidates.

What good coach needs them as millstones around their neck?
