Dallas Morning News: Louisiana linebacker still plans on coming to Tech (Raider Buzz blog)

Texas Tech’s 2013 signing class is not complete just yet.

The Red Raiders are waiting on New Orleans’ Warren Easton Senior High School linebacker Ed Williams to sign a financial aid agreement once he turns 18 years old.

If the Rivals.com three-star prospect had it his way he’d already have signed with Texas Tech. Unfortunately, Williams’ mother won’t sign off with the Red Raiders. She prefers nearby Tulane for Williams.

Sounds like his Mom is a bit of a control freak. Her son is the one playing and studying but I don't guess she cares. She should be proud he is talented and wants to better himself.
