Tech student found dead in home Friday
Details about the death of a 21-year-old Texas Tech student are scant.
David Mason Brownlow, 21, was found dead in his home on the 6100 block of Sixth Street Friday afternoon, said Sgt. Jonathan Stewart, public information officer for the Lubbock Police Department.
Brownlow was a Tech student, confirmed university spokesperson Chris Cook.
Neither foul play nor homicide appear to be causes of Brownlow’s death, Stewart said.
Little else about Brownlow’s death can be released at this point.

You would think when a paper has made such an obvious mistake in a headline, they would correct. Not the A J.

The young man was found dead early Friday, and LAJ posted the news online ASAP. No Dr. Who magic involved!
@swcowan3
The timeline is wrong. If he died Today, Friday, the story was published at 9 in the morning on Thursday the day before he died or if he died last Friday, the story was published 6 days after he died. I just do not understand the timeline.
