Eric H. Loera

Eric H. Loera, 24, of Coldwater, formerly of Bremerton, Washington died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at his home.

A service will be held on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 6 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater, with Pastor David Anderson officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Friday, beginning at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Eric was born September 5, 1986 in Lubbock, Texas to Eduardo and Terry (Hamilton) Loera, Jr.

Eric graduated from Olympic High School in Bremerton, Washington and had attended Columbus State in Columbus, Ohio. Eric has lived in Coldwater for the past year, where he had currently been working at Wendy's Restaurant. Previously he had lived in Washington where he had worked for a company in Shelton, building boats, which Eric loved. He had a great appreciation for music and art. He was an accomplished pianist and bass guitarist and he especially enjoyed drawing, stained glass and photography. Eric enjoyed playing baseball and soccer during his school years. He was active in the school Jazz Band and was a former Boy Scout. Eric enjoyed video games, especially playing "Halo" with his brother Eddie.

Eric is survived by his father, Eduardo Loera, Jr. of Galloway, Ohio; his mother, Terry and Peter Starr of Elizabethtown, Ky.; his brother, Eduardo "Eddie" H. Loera, III of Coldwater; his grandparents, Eduardo and Florentina Loera, Sr. of Lubbock and Kunegunda Hamilton of Chiefland, Fla.; his love, Jenny Mosher of Coldwater; many aunts, uncles, cousins, godchildren and friends.
