Lue Bertha Palmer

Lue Bertha Palmer, 85, of Lubbock passed away Monday, Dec 13, 2010 at her residence. She was born to Mr. Tommie and Mrs. Josephine Outland, Sr. in Calvert, Texas on June 24, 1925.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommie and Josephine; four sisters, Josephine Peoples, Vera Dill, Anthenette Ford, and Lena Outland; two brothers, Ulysses Outland, Sr. and Freddie Outland.

She leaves to cherish her memory six daughters, Mary B. Durham, Helen R. Dobbins, Lue Bertha "Sue" Salyes (Derrick), JoAnn McMorris, Betty Outland, and Brenda S. Austin; one son, Alfred Tennison; one brother, Tommie Outland, Jr.; one sister, Dorothy Evans; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Dec 17, 2010 at City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Griffin Mortuary.
