James Petties

James Petties, 63, of Clovis, N.M. passed away Friday, May 6, 2011 at Covenant. He was born April 7, 1948 in Littlefield to Jesse and Donnie Petties.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jessie and Donnie and three brothers,  Richard, Walter, and Windell.

He leaves to cherish his memory; one daughter, Donna Petties; two grandson, Bobby and Ricky; four sisters, Francies Henry, Gussie Allen, Lovie Hatchett, and Rosa Lee Washington; two brothers, Wayne Petties and Frank Petties; companion, Gloria Jones; extended family, Vickie, Derek, Erick, and Leslie; two special aunts, Minnie Adams and Patsy Tyson; one uncle Johnnie Robinson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 11, 2011 at Hope Deliverance. Interment will follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Griffin Mortuary.
