Almost an overnight affair

It's no longer just Texas Tech football games that go on a long time.

I was told today that the last folks to walk out of Jones Stadium on autograph night did so at 11:56 p.m. ... almost five hours after it started. If you were there, you already know this, but Mike Leach, Mike Crabtree, Graham Harrell and Ruffin McNeill were at a table on one side with their backs to the east sideline and the rest of the team were lined up at tables along the west sideline. Tech spokesman Chris Cook said Leach is a stickler for making sure he signs for everyone that shows up and wants his autograph.

I'm curious how anyone who was in line during that final hour felt about the wait.

Although I am quite sure that

Although I am quite sure that the people standing in line all that time were more than tired and probably frustrated, it is nice to know that Coach Leach took the time to recognize each and every one that was there that night. Not many coaches would have done that. I know that he is a stickler for making sure his players are well rested and focused, so for him to have been there along with his players tells me that he is interested in Red Raiders fans as well.
