RED RAIDER CLUB

At Texas Tech, we want to provide the highest quality of education while also providing an athletic experience that is second-to-none. Every year, our student-athletes continue to raise the bar.

Texas Tech teams compete at the highest level athletically and our graduation rates rank as some of the best in NCAA Division I collegiate athletics. The scholarships provided by the Red Raider Club have been a significant part of the success of our student- athletes.

Texas Tech student-athletes have become leaders in business and industry, education, and health care, as well as various levels of government. Without these scholarships, a majority of these student-athletes could not have afforded the expense of attending Texas Tech University.

Beginning in 2003, the athletics department will implement a new donor based seating program at Jones SBC Stadium. All monies generated from this endeavor will go directly to pay the educational expenses of all scholarship student-athletes. This program is necessary if we hope to maintain our success both in the Big 12 Conference and on a national level.

This bold initiative, for the first time in 56 years, will reward existing and new Red Raider Club members with access to premium seating benefits. In order to sit in the designated premium seating areas at Jones SBC Stadium, you will be required to be an annual Red Raider Club member at a specified level.

This program will provide the financial resources to fund all scholarships and enhance existing student support services.

Sincerely,

Gerald Myers Director of Athletics

DONOR BASED SEATING
Donor Based Seating Scholarship Fund

The Red raider Club is the primary fund-raising organization for Texas Tech Athletics. An annual unrestricted donation to the Red Raider Club Scholarship Fund provides the necessary funding for Texas Tech to remain competitive in the Big 12 Conference as well as on the national level. The intent of the donor based seating program is to fairly allocate seats in the newly remodeled Jones SBC Stadium to Red Raider Club Scholarship Fund donors.
