KANSAS CITY, Mo. - When Cyclone fans walked past one of the merchandise tables inside the arena, they asked where the Iowa State stuff was. There wasn't anything lying on the table or hanging up above it. They had sold out.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - From last week until now, there has been a lot of talk about what side of the bubble Texas will end up on. The Red Raiders didn't care. Texas Tech hung tight with the Longhorns in the first half. But then the second half happened.

Three months ago, the Red Raiders headed to Las Vegas with a 9-1 record and the confidence that they could come away with a pair of wins. But that's not how events transpired.
