Dane Carter just hit a two-out game-ending home run in the bottom of the 12th to send Texas A&M to a 6-5 win over Texas Tech in the Big 12 Conference opener for both teams.
Carter crushed a 1-0 pitch from Russ Fornea over the wall in right field to end the longest game between the two teams in Big 12 Conference history.
The loss drops Tech to 8-7 on the year and 0-1 in Big 12 play while A&M improves to 14-3 and 1-0.
