Eighteen Raiders get academic honor
The Texas Tech baseball program announced 18 athletes earned academic honor roll status during the 2010 fall semester.
Right-handed pitchers Joe Burnett and Brennan Stewart earned Dean’s List recognition for the third consecutive semester.
Left-handed pitcher Zach Fowler tallied at least a 3.0 GPA for the third straight term while senior third baseman Nick Popescu, a 2010 Academic All-Big 12 second team pick, earned his second honor roll recognition.
Fourteen baseball players made the honor roll for the first time.
