For the first three games of 2012, the Texas Tech baseball team had gone through all sorts of situations and had come out on top.
The one thing the Red Raiders hadn’t done was play from behind or tied for a long period of time. But no one seemed worried after Missouri State used three runs in the final two innings — taking the lead off of all-American closer John Neely — and handing the Red Raiders their first loss, a 4-2 decision Sunday in the final game of the Red Raider Classic.
