Tech and a Bowl ?? Why

I can't believe that Tech is in a Bowl Game ...

Let's examine this a little.

You finish "SEVENTH" in your conference.

Tech opened the season schedule with essentially three 5A High Schools for opponents and 3 BIG wins. Yea right.

Then for the remainder of the season they do not win a game against a Big 12 opponent with a winning record within the conference except "one". This is Tech's every year, "pick one big time opponent", win that game and then return to it's usual mediocrity.

The powerful Raiders managed 3 wins after the high school games against opponents with winning records. An 11-1 record, two 7-5 records. Their remaining win was at the expense of a 6-6 team.

Three wins total over teams that you would call Quality opponents.

I can't for the life of me see why they would be invited to the Broken Down Car Bowl.

Of course the Tech kool aide drinkers can't ever see this. I think the whole attitude of Tech football can be pretty well summed up with Don Williams' (Head Kool Aide Drinker) article the other day stating "Well at least we're in a Bowl Game". Geeeeezzzz what a distorted way to look at a failed season again ....

The one thing this team excels in is off the field antics. Coaches who slap other coaches on national T.V. Baby fits throwing clip boards and papers. Yelling at officials. Coaches getting players out of scrapes with the law.

Let's not forget the greatest one talent - making excuses.

• Were young • Were hurt • playing with previous coaches recruits • Were young • Were hurt • repeat one are all of the above again and again and again

Win, lose, lose, lose or lose this is an embarrassment to Tech to have this thrown in front of the public.

Oh yea, there is "The Money" which is King of all .......
