Golfers enjoy camaraderie and Rawls facilities
Bruce Caldwell’s streak ended last year. He missed the Red Raider Open.
But Saturday morning, he was back on the tee at the Rawls Course, playing in the Red Raider Club golf tournament for the 18th time in its 19 years.
“It’s about the Red Raiders, man,” Caldwell said. “Everything going toward that. I’ve played in this thing for as long as it’s started.
“The camaraderie ... I don’t know a bunch of these people, but every time you meet somebody, everybody’s so congenial and easy to get along with, because this is the Red Raider nation. That’s what it’s all about.”
