Former Texas Tech basketball coach Bob Knight will conduct a signing of his new book “The Power of Negative Thinking: An Unconventional Approach to Achieving Positive Results” from noon to 2 p.m. today inside the Hastings book store at 50th Street and Indiana Avenue.
In the book Knight, the second-winningest coach in college basketball history, writes about how what he calls “negative thinking” can translate into success on a basketball court, in business or in other aspects of life.
“The Power of Negative Thinking,” Knight writes, “comes into play by recognizing, addressing and removing the obstacles to winning.”
The book, written with Knight’s longtime friend Bob Hammel, reveals some of the thinking and strategy that helped Knight win three NCAA championships while at Indiana. He also guided Texas Tech to the NCAA Tournament four times in seven seasons.
This is the second book written by Knight. The first, “Knight: My Story,” spent five weeks on the New York Times bestseller list.
Knight, who still lives in Lubbock, is currently a college basketball analyst for ESPN.

As a basketball fan, one of the high points as a BB fan was the firing of Knight at Indiana. Unfortunately the lowest point was when Tech hired t hat little spoiled sport to try and buy a championship. Did it work Tech? Actyually, it got Tech recognized as the biggest laughing stock in the NCAA (Until Hance came along).
I am like you in that I could care less what that bozo has written.
