WAMEEGO, Kan. — On the strength of victories in the bottom four singles seeds, the No. 15 Texas Tech women’s tennis team rolled to a 5-2 victory over No. 50 Kansas State in Big 12 Conference action on Friday.
The win keeps the Lady Raiders undefeated in league play at 6-0 while improving to 16-4 overall.
Tech opened the day taking two of three matches in doubles to earn the point. Rashmi Teltumbde and Nikki Sanders earned an easy 8-2 win at No. 2 and Caroline Starck and Elizabeth Ullathorne were victorious with an 8-5 score.
