Leah Elizabeth Long, daughter of Jesse & JoAnn Long, of Lubbock, TX and Brett Reginald Blackwell, son of Reginald and Anita Blackwell of Weatherford, TX, were married at 7 P.M. Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Vintage Township Founders Park. Jesse C. Long Jr. officiated. Laurel Littlefield, of Waco, TX, sister of the bride, served as Matron of Honor. Mark Hernandez, of Friona, TX, friend of the groom, served as Best Man. Leah has her B. A. in History, Minor in Bible from Oklahoma Christian University. She is employed by The Cottage Residential Care Facility. Brett has his B. S. from Lubbock Christian University. He is a graduate student at the Institute of Environmental and Human Health from Texas Tech University. After a wedding trip to Mexico, the couple will reside in Lubbock, TX.
